Tree of Life

After taking workshops this winter with Holly Dean, see this post, I started this mixed-media. My first intention was to make a sea scene. I engraved a fish, pressed sea shell stamps in modelling paste on the background, added layers of colours....And the theme changed... I was no longer creating a sea scene....So much fun experimenting!

Spring and Farmer's Market

I'm currently working on new paintings to show on May 26th, on the opening day of the North Gower Farmer's Market. The 2010 painting below was part of a series I did after visiting my friend Norma when she was living in Edinburgh, Scotland.

It was a great day at the North Gower Farmer's Market Easter Sale.If you missed it, here are some of the goodies you can get at the market when it's opening on Saturday May 26, 2012. I will post the dates when I come to the market very shortly. The market opens from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This is a great way to meet people from the North Gower community and discover talented crafters, artists, food maker, bakers, food producer and more.
