Working on new backgrounds

I started to work on new canvases and it feels good to be back painting! I am enjoying adding layers and layers of paint, some with transparent pigments and some with more opaque ones. The result is always very rich in tones and texture. Once finished, the paintings will for sale on my Etsy shop. These backgrounds needs few more layers before the final design is added.

    These are so vibrant and I love the embossed and textured areas.

      Thanks Bev, it's always a surprise how these small paintings will look at the end! I used paper which looks like wall paper for some of the embossed areas.
