Art classes at the studio: Learning from the masters, Joan Miró

This week, students finished a project on Joan Miró

After looking at photographs of Joan Miró's artwork, students age 6 to 10 were asked to draw "people" in the same style.

Students age 11 to 13 made a drawing (which had to include a focal point) in the style of the artist.

Working on new backgrounds

In preparation of upcoming shows, I started to work on a new series of backgrounds.

Tomorrow, October 6th is the last Saturday at the North Gower farmer's market. I hope you can join us.
Village square (original) will be on display and for sale at the market. Print (smaller size) will be also available.
