The Sea art camp

Yesterday was the last day of my summer art camp. My enthusiastic and hard working students made this art camp a success and I thank them for it. I am very grateful to have taught such a wonderful and dedicated group. Here are their interpretation of Hokusai's wave. The final project of a seascape was painted on masonite.

The "Sea" art camp

Day 2 of the “Sea” visual art camp. Students have been working on the Paul Klee’s project, the Golden fish.
Age 7 to 16.
My oldest student in this group has been coming to my summer art camps for the last nine years… time flies! I see some of my students once a year during the summer art camp and it is always a pleasure to catch up with them and found out what they have been up to.

Pottery

On our last pottery class, last night, we glazed our pieces, challenging step! What you see is not what you get as colours; it will look totally different once it is fired. It will be “magical” hopefully when it comes out from the kiln in two weeks. Signed up for another class for Creative sculptures with Maria Moldovan. Really enjoyed discovering her work on her website (Link below). Her imaginary world in her work appeals to me.
