C'est la fête nationale en France. Coming from France (I was born and raised in Chartres) I always think about my friends and family in France especially today.

Ancient Greece, July summer visual art camp

Seventeen delightful students are attending the Ancient Greece visual art camp I'm offering at the studio until tomorrow.
Morning class working on the final project

Afternoon class painting with gouache

Students learned about printing techniques and Greek design for amphora:

· Creating the design inspired by Greek amphora pictures.

· Transferring the design on a foam board

· Applying the ink with a rubber brayer
· Printing on paper using a rubbing stick
