After trying few prototypes for a “wire” fish, the final version is ready for the sea theme art camp in August.

The Wave

The Great Wave off Kanagawa, also known as The Great Wave or simply The Wave, is a woodblock print by the Japanese artist Hokusai. 
Project in progress with Gelly Roll pen on Canson paper.

Sea program

Preparing the "sea" program for my students, starting with pebbles and seashells. Fun to "discover again" my collection of pebbles and seashells from Nova Scotia (Canada) and Mayotte (France, Indian ocean). Really enjoyed drawing and sketching, :)

Taking a new pottery course at Hitonburg pottery in Ottawa. Tonight we learned to make a little box.

Renaissance Time

Friday was the last day for the July art camp on “Renaissance Time”. I had a really great group of engaged students from age 8 to 13. Here are the projects inpired by Leonardo da Vinci, Renaissance astronomy, Michelangelo and Arcimboldo

Second day for the July art camp on "Renaissance Time" at the studio. Students are working on a "Mona Lisa" project. What a lovely group of students, so focused :)

Last class at St Lawrence College

Last class on Thursday, at St Lawrence College, we learned to make plaster hump molds. So fun!
