Summer
Last night I finished to embroider a "tiny bird" watercolour and started a new one for the future re-opening of my Etsy shop. Today I worked on the sketch of a whale for a larger painting 24" x 24" on wood panel. Really excited about it.That's all I am doing for the next three weeks: painting smile emoticon smile emoticon

Fiber sculptures
Friday was the last day for my July art camp. I had a wonderful time with my talented students. Amazing work they created! They built the body, covered it with raffia , embroidered le museau (snout) with a needle and embroidery floss and they added colourful wool from my never ending wool stash smile emoticon
Fibre sculptures inspired by Central Desert Tjanpi weavers. Woven sculpture and baskets by Tjanpi Desert Weavers are made from desert grass (tjanpi), wool, raffia and found objects.
