Friday I had the pleasure to teach a workshop on "Introduction to gouache" at the Alta Vista library in Ottawa organized by Masc programs for seniors (www.masconline.ca)

One Sunday a month a group of artists meet in Buritts Rapids. We do life drawing with a model. I really enjoy it. Here are few sketches since I started
Recording the colours palette on my sketchbook of the French garden at my sister in law and brother in law, on Thanksgiving weekend last week.
I went to the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto this past weekend to see an exhibit on Alex Colville. I enjoyed his unique style of painting. I was surprised how elaborated his sketches were. His subjects sometimes look like they "float" in the painting because he did not paint any shadows. I liked this effect, a bit magical.
